by sButHereGoes So I'm an 'older' person who started her music collection with CDs. Over time I have bought more music online (MP3s), and I have also ripped my favorite tracks from my CDs to my PC.
I save all my music onto an external hard drive.
Being a person who likes to keep clutter to a minimum, I'm thinking it's time to get rid of all my CDs. But I'm wondering...is there any reason I'd want or need to save them?
For parties, I just connect my PC or MP3 player to my stereo to play music. And while I normally still pop CDs into my 5-CD stereo system when I just want to hear music by myself at home, I know that I could also do this by connecting my computer to my stereo
