Great American Gospel is a high quality, weekly Gospel music program hosted by legendary Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Ed O’Neal of the Dixie Melody Boys.
The original idea of creators and producers of the program, Danny and Dee Kramer, was to create a program that would introduce new up and coming artists, while bringing to the forefront the traditional sounds of Southern Gospel Music, featuring the legendary performers and top artists in the industry.
In 2010, the Great American Gospel show won the National Religious Broadcasters Showcase Award for “Top New Gospel Music Television Program of the Year, ” and began to receive high acclaim for its top quality music direction and production. It would soon become one of the fastest growing television programs in Gospel music and would even garner Nielsen ratings on the Fox and CW Networks in Southeast Georgia, where the program originated.
Now a weekly music staple for viewers on Daystar Television Network, viewers can tune in each week to view a variety of Gospel music styles from bluegrass and country gospel to the quartet style of music that was a favorite of Elvis Presley.
